Welcome to the Lancing Foundation Office
Since its founding in 1848, Lancing has always depended on, and benefited from, the generosity of those who have shared the vision of our Founder.
As is clear from the magnificence of our buildings and grounds, Lancing has always been rich in tradition but never rich in foundation. The College as it stands today is the result of generations of philanthropy from OLs, parents, former parents, former staff and friends of Lancing. The Foundation Office serves to continue that tradition of giving so that the Lancing continues to provide the very best education it can to all our pupils, for many years to come.
The Office is an important link between the College and its friends; it is the administrative centre for all OL activity, The Lancing Foundation (the fund set up to receive all donations), the 1848 Legacy Society and The Old Lancing Club. It works closely with the St Nicolas Association (current parents), The Lancing Association (former parents) and the Parent/Teacher Associations at our prep schools, the LPH PTA and LPWA.
THE AIMS OF THE FOUNDATION OFFICE
To maintain and strengthen the tradition of benefaction that has sustained and enriched this College since its establishment in 1848.
To encourage and nurture the relationship, interest and support of OLs, parents, pupils and friends of the Lancing community.
We achieve this through arranging Events for OLs, seeking funding for bursaries and capital projects and gathering long term financial support through legacies.
