Wraparound’s Aim

To provide a high quality out of school childcare service in a safe, welcoming environment where the emphasis is on having fun and providing a positive experience. We aim to produce not a ‘curriculum’ but a ‘programme of opportunities’.

During Wraparound the children have the opportunity to make new friends and experience fun activities.

For busy parents of Pre-Prep children we offer care both before school (from 8.00am) and after school (to 6.00 pm). Admission is on a ‘drop in’ basis and we provide an evening tea for the children. The cost of Term Time Wraparound is added to the following term’s invoice.

Wraparound Care Fees (Academic Year 2016/17)

£3.90 per hour or £1.95 per half hour (or part thereof)
(a charge of £2.00 will be made for tea after 5.00pm)

Wraparound Care - Kindergarten – Term Time Only

£4.10 per hour or £2.05 per half hour (or part thereof)
(a charge of £2.00 will be made for tea after 5.00pm)

Holiday Club

Our Holiday Clubs run, subject to demand, for most weeks of the school holidays and are open to both LCPW pupils and children from outside the school. We are working towards a holiday programme containing two activity streams – an Early Years and Fun Club for children up to seven years of age and a variety of Activity Clubs for those in Year 3 and above. Some of these will be provided by school staff and some by external providers. Within each stream, there will be a combination of sporting activities, performing arts, creative and fun activities. At present our Holiday Clubs cater for children throughout the whole school age range.

Holiday Activities are advertised in advance at school and through the website. Attending our Holiday Activities is on a pre-booked and paid for basis. For further information, please contact the school.

Staffing

All Wraparound Supervisors are qualified and meet OFSTED's requirements. The staff to child ratio is as required by the Children’s Act regulations, which ensures that the children have the opportunity for individual attention and continuity of care.
